CSA (Farm Box Subscription) Terms and Conditions
1. Commitment Period
By joining our CSA, you agree to commit to the full season duration, with an anticipated grow cycle of approximately 10 to 12 weeks. Your membership directly supports the planting, growing, and harvesting required to fulfill your boxes throughout this period.
2. Payments
-
Payments must be made in advance to secure your membership.
-
Payment deadline: August 1, 2025, for the fall season beginning September 2025 (exact start date to be announced).
-
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, and credit/debit card.
-
Members paying by check must enroll in automatic payments deducted on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
-
Payments must be received a minimum of one week prior to the first pickup date. Late payments may result in a temporary hold on membership until payment is received.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
-
No early cancellations or refunds are allowed once your membership is confirmed for the season.
-
Farming requires months of upfront planning, seed purchases, and crop management based on CSA enrollments. Early cancellations jeopardize this process and the financial sustainability of our farm.
-
If you are unable to use your box, you are welcome to gift it to a friend or family member. Please notify us in advance if someone else will be picking up on your behalf.
-
If you cannot find someone to receive your box, we will donate it to a local family in need to ensure the harvest continues to nourish our community.
4. Pickup Policy
-
Pickup is at Saving Face Farm, 2190 Hwy 2247, Comanche, TX 76442
-
Pickup days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
-
Pickup window: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
-
Orders not picked up during these scheduled times will not be reimbursed or credited.
-
We are not able to accommodate missed pickups, rescheduling, or after-hours pickups.
5. Handling Non-Production Weeks
-
Our CSA operates on a 10–12 week anticipated grow cycle; however, as an organic and biodynamic farm, Mother Nature ultimately has the final say.
-
In the event of low production, we will provide:
• Alternative products: such as honey, jams, dried herbs, or baked goods.
• Credit or carry-forward: applied to future boxes if necessary. -
We promise to communicate transparently regarding seasonal availability or adjustments to your boxes.
6. Produce Quantities
-
Quantities are approximate based on seasonal availability and natural growing cycles.
-
Weekly boxes generally contain 5–7 seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs, while bi-weekly boxes contain 7–10 items.
7. Agreement
By enrolling in the Saving Face Farm CSA program, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions and understand the commitment involved in supporting a regenerative, biodynamic, and community-centered farming operation.
