There’s never a dull moment here at Saving Face Farm—and this past week brought one of the best surprises yet: wild pumpkins sprouting from last season’s goat compost pile! It’s moments like these that remind us how interconnected everything is on a working farm.
Our beets and green beans are starting to slow down with the summer heat, but we’re still harvesting plenty. Meanwhile, the onions are going strong, and the insect pressure—especially from squash bugs—has kept us on our toes. Thankfully, our homemade insecticidal soap is making a noticeable difference.
And now for the exciting part...

We’re thrilled to open up Fall CSA (farm box) subscriptions—your chance to bring the freshest, most nutrient-dense food straight from our fields to your table.
Starting in early to mid-September, you’ll get weekly access to:

All grown and prepared right here with care and commitment to quality, in partnership with Tate Place Farm.
